Here are the specifics:
Ensure that children and youth have opportunities to grow in their Christian faith and understand ways their relationship with Christ can impact the world. Engage children and youth in safe, positive ways that allows them to develop a long-term vision of themselves as vital members of the Christ’s church.
Ongoing functions include coordinating regular youth and family activities, including ways for youth to be engaged and involved in Sunday worship. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker who will work closely with families to understand the needs of their children, including any barriers that might exist to prevent their participation in church activities, and develop programs to meet those needs. They will be organized and able to work with a variety of people, including church staff, volunteers, parents and other local youth directors.
Qualifications include a demonstrated passion for helping children and youth grow in their Christian faith and an ability to interact respectfully with a variety of people who worship and live their faith through McMinnville Cooperative Ministries. Candidates must be able to pass a background check.

Your Children are Welcome Here!We love the sound and energy of children, and their presence will not be disruptive to us. They may join you for the entire time in any of our worship services if you choose. We also offer several other options for your, and their, convenience:
Play or Pray Table- All ages, during Celebration Service
Keep those little hands busy and join our grown-up volunteers to play Legos, color, use play dough and have fun while listening to our Sunday Service.
Foundations (Youth Group)
Dinner, games, songs and small group discussion focusing on the four F’s – Faith, Fellowship, Food and Fun! A joint, family dinner will be followed by song time and large group games for the whole youth group. Following, participants will split into small groups for fellowship and curriculum. Children and youth are all welcome to attend. This program is deliberately interfaith, not just focusing on the Lutheran and Methodist traditions of the CoOp, but also integrating with the traditions other communities of faith!

These all night events are welcome to any youth and their friends who would like to participate. Lock-ins generally run from 7pm to 7am on Friday nights. The youth and their advisers are locked into CoOp and no other groups are permitted entry during that time. Lock-ins generally revolve around a theme (for instance the last two have been Zombie Faith and Teamwork) and include food, games, and generally a movie.
Youth Day at SMB – all ages
Fifth Saturday of those months which have them are the Youth Volunteer Days at Saturday Morning Breakfast. Children, youth and families are encouraged to volunteer at any time at SMB, but especially on Fifth Saturdays.
